About Us
At Stone's Tutoring Co., our mission is to bring out the best in every student and to guide them toward academic, career, and personal success.
Our tutors help with classes, standardized testing, college admissions, and more. Each session is personalized for the student to support them in the areas where they need the most help, and we regularly provide additional resources and activities to enrich their education.
Our goal is to help students improve in 3 key areas:

1. Knowledge - We work on building a solid academic foundation to broaden the student's awareness & understanding and to instill intellectual breadth in preparation for more advanced study.

2. Problem-Solving Skills - We teach our students how to solve problems on their own so that they are more self-sufficient in their studies and know how to implement what they learn into real life.

3. Self-Confidence - We've heard too many students say "I'm so bad at [math/physics/etc.]" and it can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. We give our students a safe space where they feel comfortable being wrong so they can learn how to work through mistakes. We aim to build a sense of comfort and confidence in their own work so that they can explore new content daringly.
